Description
Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12 is a six-amino-acid peptide reported to improve skin firmness and tone. Its amino acid sequence is Val-Gly-Val-Ala-Pro-Gly, also known as the spring segment, which repeats six times in the important skin protein elastin. The manufacturer conducted a one-month, double-blind clinical study on 10 women, finding that applying 4 percent Biopeptide El twice daily improved skin firmness by 33 percent and skin tone by 20 percent. This ingredient aims to enhance a youthful appearance in the skin.
