Description
Disodium Cocoamphodipropionate is a mild cleansing agent known for its gentle action on skin and hair. Its amphoteric structure, meaning the molecule features both positively and negatively charged parts, allows it to be both effective and gentle. While chemically similar to the more common Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, it offers excellent cleansing properties. When used in combination with anionic surfactants, Disodium Cocoamphodipropionate significantly helps reduce their irritation potential and improves foam quality and stability, making it a valuable ingredient in gentle shampoos, body washes, and facial cleansers.
