The discovery of Karanal® in 1987 coincided with a period of significant development in fragrance chemistry, when synthetic woody notes began to take on a central role in men's fragrances.
Although Karanal® is up to 5 times more expensive than similar synthetic ingredients, its exceptional performance allows it to be used in smaller quantities while delivering a comparable or superior aromatic result.
Karanal® has contributed significantly to the creation of a new generation of men's fragrances with more complex and multidimensional woody notes, setting them apart from the traditional fragrances of previous decades.
