Description
Additional information
Macrocyclic musks such as Nirvanolide represent the latest generation of synthetic aromatics, offering more refined scent profiles and greater stability compared to older synthetic variants.
Before the development of synthetic musks such as Nirvanolide, perfumery relied on animal-derived musks obtained primarily from the musk deer, a practice that has now been abandoned for environmental and ethical reasons.
The use of Nirvanolide in Bleu de Chanel in 2010 marked a turning point for the ingredient, as the fragrance became a global success and established its reputation as a premier component in luxury perfumery.
