Description
Additional information
Ozonic notes such as Floralozone® take their name from ozone, the molecule that gives the air its characteristic freshness after a storm. Perfumers created these synthetic notes to replicate that sense of cleanliness which could not be captured from natural ingredients.
Floralozone® is part of the revolution in modern perfumery that began in the 1990s, when synthetic molecular structures made it possible to create scents that do not exist in nature, significantly expanding the possibilities for perfumers.
Floralozone® is widely used to create aquatic floral fragrances, a category that became extremely popular with scents like "L'Eau d'Issey" and "Cool Water", which combined ocean freshness with delicate floral notes.
