Description
Glycolic Acid is one of the best-known alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), featuring the smallest and simplest molecular structure in its class. It comes from natural sources or laboratory synthesis. Its primary function is exfoliation, gently removing dead cells from the skin surface to reveal a newer, fresher, and brighter appearance. In addition, Glycolic Acid supports collagen production, helping create firmer skin and reducing the appearance of fine lines. It also helps reduce discoloration and brown spots while improving overall skin texture and tone.
