Description
Additional information
Timur Pepper is primarily cultivated in the mountainous regions of the Himalayas, particularly in Nepal, where it has been an important element of local cuisine and culture for centuries.
Unlike conventional peppers, Timur produces a unique tingling and buzzing sensation on the tongue, similar to Sichuan pepper, due to natural compounds that affect touch receptors.
It belongs to the same botanical family as citrus fruits (Rutaceae), which explains the lively, lemon-like notes often detected in its aroma.
