Description
When it comes to borage and skin care, the seed oil is usually the focus due to its uniquely high gamma-linolenic acid content. However, the leaves are far from useless. Borago Officinalis Leaf Extract contains exceptional antioxidant compounds, including polyphenols and flavonoids. These compounds give the extract significant free radical scavenging activity, protecting the skin from oxidative stress, although its action is milder than vitamin C and comparable to the synthetic antioxidant BHT. It helps tone and revitalize the skin.
