The natural scent of lily of the valley (muguet) is extremely difficult to extract from the plant itself, making acetaldehyde ethyl linalyl acetal a valuable alternative for recreating this characteristic spring aroma.
Ingredients created in a laboratory like acetaldehyde ethyl linalyl acetal contribute significantly to perfumery sustainability by reducing the need to harvest rare or threatened plant species.
Despite its technical nature, acetaldehyde ethyl linalyl acetal delivers a surprisingly natural feel that makes it a popular ingredient across various fragrance families, from fresh florals to more complex floral compositions.
