Description
Additional information
Macrocyclic musks such as Cervolide are considered more environmentally friendly compared to older generations of synthetic musks, such as nitro musks and polycyclic musks.
Synthetic musk ingredients were developed as an ethical alternative to natural musks derived from animals, such as the musk deer, helping protect wild populations.
In perfumery, Cervolide and other macrocyclic musks act as fragrance fixatives, extending scent longevity and improving the overall performance of the fragrance composition.
