Description
Salicornia Herbacea Extract is a plant extract derived from glasswort, a succulent species that thrives in salt marshes along the coast of South Korea. According to its Korean manufacturer, it contains skin-beneficial components such as betaine, amino acids, and minerals. The extract can strengthen the skin barrier, enhance skin regeneration, and provide deep hydration. In addition, a 2009 in-vitro laboratory study indicated that Salicornia Herbacea Extract possesses antioxidant and whitening properties, making it a strong candidate for a skin-revitalizing agent.
