Clary sage oil is used as a flavoring ingredient in the production of vermouth and certain wines, imparting characteristic notes reminiscent of Muscat grapes.
In traditional healing, clary sage has been used for stress relief, to support women's health and as a natural calmative, alongside its applications in perfumery.
