Tetrahydrolinalyl acetate is chemically related to linalool, a natural component found in many essential oils such as lavender and coriander.
The laboratory production of this ingredient allows perfumers to achieve consistent quality and aromatic profiles, something difficult to accomplish with exclusively natural ingredients.
The shift toward renewable raw materials for producing tetrahydrolinalyl acetate reflects a broader sustainability trend in the fragrance industry, as companies look for ways to reduce their environmental footprint.
