Description
VP/VA Copolymer is a large polymer molecule built from repeating subunits that functions as a film-forming agent and hair-fixing agent. It is a modified version of the classic hair fixative PVP. VP/VA Copolymer alternates water-soluble VP (vinylpyrrolidone) units with water-repellent VA (vinyl acetate) units. This structure creates a film that is less brittle and less sensitive to atmospheric humidity, providing flexible hold and longevity in styling products without weighing the hair down. It helps maintain hairstyles for longer periods.
Additional information
- Widely used in hairsprays, mousses, and gels for flexible hold.
- Helps provide hold and maintain hair style.
- Forms a clear, flexible film over the hair without weighing it down.
