Description
Glyceryl Stearate Citrate is an ingredient similar to the widely known glyceryl stearate. It is used to combine water and oils (emulsifier) and to give the skin softness (emollient). Its main difference from glyceryl stearate is the addition of a citric acid molecule to its glycerin. In cosmetics, both glyceryl stearate citrate and glyceryl stearate are considered safe and tested emulsifiers. It is often included in moisturizers and lotions that combine aqueous and oily ingredients.
