Moroccan chamomile has a long history in North African traditional medicine, where it has been used for its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties for centuries.
Despite its common name, Moroccan chamomile (Ormenis multicaulis) does not belong to the same botanical family as the common chamomile used in herbal teas, although they share a similar appearance.
The plant thrives in dry, stony soils and can withstand drought conditions, a characteristic that makes it ideally suited to the North African climate.
