Description
Canthoxal is a valuable fragrance ingredient, widely recognized for its ability to create juicy, fruity scent experiences reminiscent of melon and pear, as well as for enhancing delicate floral notes such as mimosa, broom, and lily. Its exceptional versatility makes it ideal for a variety of fragrance compositions, functioning either as a top-note booster in a fresh cologne or by adding a fresh touch to richer oriental perfumes. Created in 1951, Canthoxal stands out as one of the few molecules that harmoniously combine anisic and ozonic characteristics, offering a distinct and memorable aromatic signature.
