Bottom notes like Z11 HD are the last ones you perceive, yet the first ones placed in a fragrance composition. They remain on the skin for up to 24 hours after application, long after the other notes have evaporated.
Fixatives like Z11 HD act as a glue for fragrances, slowing down the evaporation of more volatile ingredients and extending the longevity of the scent on the skin. Without them, a fragrance could last only a few minutes.
Biotechnology in perfumery enables the creation of molecules like Z11 HD that combine desired aromatic properties with environmental sustainability. This approach reduces the need for rare natural ingredients, thereby protecting fragile ecosystems and endangered species.
