Description
Allyl Cyclohexyl Propionate is an ingredient used primarily to impart fruity pineapple notes to fragrances. It offers a sweet, natural note and tartness that accurately replicates the characteristics of fresh pineapple. This ingredient is particularly useful in formulations featuring exotic fruits and chamomile, where it helps recreate their complex aromatic profiles. It is a synthetic ingredient not found in nature, so it cannot be extracted as a natural product. Compared to other ingredients used for pineapple notes, such as Ethyl Butyrate, Allyl Caproate, and Allyl Amyl Glycolate, Allyl Cyclohexyl Propionate delivers a more authentic and flavorful fruity note in fragrance compositions.
Additional information
- Unlike many other fragrance ingredients, Allyl Cyclohexyl Propionate is exclusively synthetic and does not exist anywhere in nature, representing a creation of modern fragrance chemistry.
- Perfumers highly value this ingredient for its ability to replicate pineapple tartness with such precision that it is difficult to distinguish from the natural fruit aroma.
- In fragrance laboratories, Allyl Cyclohexyl Propionate is often combined with other fruity notes to create complex exotic fruit compositions, providing depth and authenticity that is hard to achieve with other ingredients.
