The information here describes the ingredient in general. Its possible sources may vary and do not necessarily show the origin or form used in a particular YUMA product. For product-specific information, check the relevant product page.
Description
Generally, the unsaponifiable fraction of an oil resists the saponification process. Avocado oil, the source of Persea Gratissima Oil Unsaponifiables, stands out because it contains significantly more unsaponifiable components (roughly 5 to 12 percent) than most other plant oils, which typically contain only 1 to 2 percent. The main components found in Persea Gratissima Oil Unsaponifiables are skin-nourishing and soothing sterols, such as beta-sitosterol and campesterol, alongside the most potent antioxidant form of vitamin E, alpha-tocopherol. These valuable components provide excellent care, hydration, and protection for the skin while improving its elasticity and helping maintain a youthful appearance.
