It blends orange, citrus and ozone aromas, bringing fresh, clean and refined floral undertones to fragrance compositions. Regulatory information
The safety of 10-undecenal has been evaluated by the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM), and a safety assessment has been published following peer review. It was found to have the potential to cause skin sensitization in a small percentage of individuals. This means that in a limited number of people, repeated contact at a sufficiently high level may cause a temporary reaction, including redness, rash or itching on the skin. To prevent sensitization, RIFM has established a maximum acceptable concentration level for this ingredient in household products, air care products, cosmetics and personal care products. Although an ingredient may have the potential to cause skin sensitization, most people will not be affected. Everyone's skin is different, so consult a healthcare professional with any questions.
