Extracting natural benzyl acetone would require massive quantities of raspberries and cocoa, whereas laboratory production requires minimal resources. This difference makes the laboratory method up to 100 times more efficient for the environment.
When you enjoy a warm cup of cocoa or fresh raspberries, the aroma you perceive contains natural benzyl acetone. The same component that adds sweetness to your favorite foods is also used in the fragrances you wear.
Professional perfumers use benzyl acetone as a bridge between different fragrance notes. It acts as a connecting link that unites floral and sweet scents, creating more balanced and complex compositions.
