Oxane was introduced to perfumery in 1974, a period of intense innovation in synthetic fragrance ingredients, contributing to the fruity fragrance revolution of the 1970s.
While Oxane exists naturally in passion fruit, its quantity is extremely small. Its synthetic production allows for use in higher concentrations, creating more intense and stable fragrance notes.
As a top note booster, Oxane acts like a magnifying glass for fragrances, highlighting and amplifying the first impressions perceived by the user upon application.
