Description
Terpinyl acetate is an ingredient with a characteristic aroma that combines pleasant pine, lavender, and herbal notes. It occurs naturally in various plants such as sage, ginger, citrus, bay leaf, and clove essential oil. Fragrance creators often produce a laboratory version of terpinyl acetate that is nature-identical. This ensures consistent quality and helps preserve natural resources. The lab-created version can originate from various sources, including renewable materials, making it a sustainable choice for the modern fragrance industry.

Additional information
- Terpinyl acetate is one of the components that give pine forests their characteristic scent. When walking through a pine forest, this molecule is part of the aromatic experience you enjoy!
- Although two versions of terpinyl acetate exist (natural and laboratory-produced), they are chemically identical. Even the most trained noses of perfumers cannot tell the difference between them in the final fragrance.
- Professional perfumers consider terpinyl acetate a secret ingredient for balanced compositions, as it bridges aromatic notes to create harmonious and natural-feeling scents.
